Activity description

CRIOTEC IMPIANTI is an Italian SME, founded in 1988, specialized in cryogenic, high vacuum and turn-key equipment. The company is able to manage the whole process, from the analysis and design to the manufacturing, test, on-site installation and commissioning. Its main products are: LHe cryostats, special cryogenic systems, VIP lines, high vacuum equipment, TVC (Thermal Vacuum Chambers) with temperature control down to 10 K, thermal cycling chambers, active and passive cryogenic thermal shields, stainless steel piping for pure gas distribution, cryogenic vaporizers and aerospace components. 

CRIOTEC increased its capabilities in 2016 realizing a new ISO8 clean room in its premises in Chivasso, equipped with two Thermal Vacuum Chambers, the biggest one with an opening of 3 mt and a length of 4 mt, suitable to test aerospace components and perform characterization, qualification and acceptance tests. Moreover, since the TVC, as well as all the control and acquisition system, have been designed and manufactured internally by CRIOTEC, it is easily possible to adapt them to customer's requirements. 

CRIOTEC's most important customers are the Italian, European and Worldwide research centres, such as CERN in Genève, the most important European research institute, in collaboration with their engineers and physics we achieved significant successes relating LHC and CMS experiment. A fundamental experience of quality and quantity that brought us to receive from CERN the "CMS Gold Award" in 2005. 

CRIOTEC Impianti actively plays an important role in the aerospace and aeronautic fields with dedicated equipments. More in detail, CRIOTEC Impianti designs and manufactures transportable liquid oxygen storage vessels for aeronautical use and all dedicated equipments, for example: purging units, LOx samplers, LN2 converters and others… For aerospace, CRIOTEC Impianti is engaged in the design and manufacture of space simulation chambers, experimental test benches and technical gas distribution panels for space modules and related equipments for pneumatic, hydraulic and test and helium leak test.

CRIOTEC mainly operates in the aerospace, agrifood and cleantech fields.
